Ani Datukishvili Presents FW19/20 Collection At Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Tbilisi

FW 19/20 collection contains 30 looks. Inspiration of the collection is 20th Century Georgian Interior design. Parquet and tile prints, Georgian carpet patterned prints, 20th century Georgian opera "Keto and Kote" poster prints and old newspaper advertisement prints, which are all exclusive prints and gives a storyline to the collection. This season is all about the prints. In the collection there are tailored jacket and coats, puffer jackets with surrealistic prints, leather garments and pleats. Collection combines 20th century and modern silhouettes. Main colors are black, white, beige, green, red and dark blue. As always there is a big range of fabric for every occasion. Also handmade knitwear pieces, crooked collars and mini skirts are inspired by children fashion from 20th century.

"I love interior design and always wanted to create collection, which would be inspired by it, so I decided to start combining inspiration from interior design and Georgia, where I was born. My home, where I have many decors from 20th century and my ancestorss houses, which are very old, were a good inspiration for me. I transferred Georgian interior and fashion design from 20th century to present day in my way."- says Ani Datukishvili.
